Sheriff Chris Brown

Chris Brown has served as the elected Sheriff of Cleburne County Arkansas since January 2017.  He has been a certified police firearms instructor for over 9 years, a red dot pistol instructor for 3 years, is a Modern Samurai Project Staff Instructor, a certified Glock MOS instructor, and teaches a variety of classes for LE and civilians, ranging from brand new shooters to advanced shooters.  Chris earned Modern Samurai Project Black Belt Patch #21 in 2022, and recently earned one of Glock’s rare Speed & Accuracy Professional Training coins for performance with an MOS pistol.  Chris has served in law enforcement for over 15 years and has over 2,500 hours of professional training. He has been on SWAT/SRT teams for three different agencies and holds instructor certifications in multiple areas.

Shortly after taking office in 2017, Sheriff Brown was dubbed "The most conservative Sheriff in Arkansas" by Pro 2nd Amendment advocates all over the state. Sheriff Brown believes that it is the God given natural right of all mankind to be able to own and carry firearms whenever, wherever, and however they choose so long as they do so responsibly. He has been an outspoken opponent of "Red Flag" laws, and an avid supporter of pro-gun legislation and state sovereignty.

Chris and his wife Ali have been married for 16 years and they have four beautiful daughters that all love guns, shooting, and horse riding.  One of his favorite quotes is from Aristotle:

"We are what we repeatedly do.  Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
