*This class is limited to LE/Mil only*

This class will be taught by Sheriff Chris Brown and Sergeant Matt Higgins

Patrol rifles have largely taken the place as the primary long-gun for patrol officers.  Having an intricate knowledge base, working understanding, and operational mastery of an AR-style platform rifle is a must for those working in an enforcement capacity in today’s age.  Being able to perform basic functions like reloads, sling operation, and safety operation as well as having a solid base of more “advanced” functions like remedial malfunctions, one-hand manipulations, and positional shooting are crucial but all too often overlooked in training.  Once that  base skillset is in place, the challenge becomes how to pass that information along to those around you effectively.

This course is designed for those who carry rifles in an environment where they may be called on to deploy that rifle and make split second decisions under demanding stress loads.  This class will push the envelope mentally and physically, give students a high-functioning foundational skill-set that will set them up for success when the fight finds them, and give instructors techniques and material to effectively and efficiently pass that information along to their students.
