Survival Handgun 1-day (8 hours)

This class will be taught by Sheriff Chris Brown and Sergeant Matt Higgins

Survival Handgun is an intensive, performance-driven course designed for law enforcement professionals (and civilians) who may find themselves fighting with a handgun under compromised, chaotic, and life-threatening conditions. This program focuses on the reality that people involved in gunfights are often injured, off-balance, or operating in unpredictable environments where traditional square-range techniques fall apart.

Students will develop and enhance their ability to run a handgun efficiently with either hand alone - dominant or support - including drawing, reloading, malfunction clearing, and target engagement. Emphasis is placed on maintaining operational capability after simulated injury, using only one hand while managing gear, utilizing cover, and adapting to rapidly changing environmental constraints.

**The Sig P320 platform will not be allowed in this class** If you are currently carrying that platform and wish to attend this class, you will need to bring a different firearm or use one of the provided Walthers**

Required equipment:
-Handgun with at least 3 mags**
-300 rounds of reliable ammo 
-Reliable and good quality belt/drop leg/paddle/AIWB holster (no Serpas, no old leather holsters)
-Eye and Ear protection (electronic preferred but not required)
-Sharpie
-Water/water bottle
-Weather appropriate clothing
-Good attitude and open mind

-Towel

**Walther is providing a limited number of PDP pistols with red dots and holsters for those who would like to test their equipment (student must still provide their own 9mm ammunition for class)

All training sales are final. Refunds are only available if the class is canceled by NSDS. If students cannot attend, they can receive credit for a future class by contacting us at naturalstatedefensive@outlook.com 30 days prior to the class start date. Class credit is valid for one transfer only and expires after one year.
